Assistant Food & Beverage Director
Joshua Scott will never forget the first time he learned about Union Square Hospitality Group. After reading Danny Meyer’s book, Setting the Table, he fell in love with the concept and quickly began including it as required reading for his F&B teams.
Joshua joins the team at Union Square Hospitality Group as Assistant Food & Beverage Director of Anchovy Social, located on the Thompson Hotel Rooftop, with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His recent roles have included Director of Food and Beverage at five-star Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania, Director of Restaurants at Marriott Marquis Houston, and Senior Manager of Food and Beverage at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. Throughout these roles, Joshua aspires to leave neighborhoods better than he found them and he is excited to bring that passion for the community to D.C.
In addition to Anchovy Social, Joshua will use his extensive experience in the hospitality industry to oversee the daily operations of Thompson Hotel’s food and beverage program.
